Hi, my name is Hannah Grace , I’m 22 years old, and I have been involved in VSM for 3 years! I grew up in a christian household with a lot of christian influences around me, but none actually fighting for me. Because of this, I ended up getting lost in worldly pursuits, even attempting to run away at the age of 17. And that's when things started taking a turn. In the fall of 2020, after running away, I was sent to Brunswick, Ga to stay with some family. From there I got involved in a private christian school, and then several college ministries, constantly looking for something deeper, realer. It wasn’t until I walked into the Hub during a church service project in 2022 that I found what I was looking for. I finally found people who were actually living out their faith and fighting for something in their everyday lives.

After meeting the staff of VSM and hearing about what God was doing in their lives, I decided I wanted to start fighting for my relationship with God too. So I did the SOFI school (school of foundation and identity) the beginning of 2023, which led to doing the internship that summer. After that I took a step back and went back to working while heavily volunteering. Then this past year I felt led to get fully involved again, starting with the summer internship and now with being on staff full-time. Looking at the past 3 years, I’ve grown a lot and am excited to continue to get to do so with people around me to encourage me and who are fighting for the same standards. I’m also excited to fully be a part of this local missionary work that God has called me to. I’ve already gotten to see the fruit of this ministry and am excited that I get the opportunity to continue to invest into it.
